Confidence without arrogance is a fine balance.
But demonstrate a lack of confidence and you will viewed as wimpy or self deprecating, too much and you are arrogant.
On this site through my perusals, I have found the text in women's profiles to be more arrogant than mens, men are usually aware of the fact that they are in the majority and hence try the "nice guy" line, wehereas women know that they are in the minority and can say things like, "no k's in your name", "I only accept messages on a tuesday between 3 and 5".....

Well as I don’t pander to ego’s or arrogance….

Arrogant people don't ask enough questions before heading off in a direction.
Confidence and enquiry for me are good traits; find out how others see things and get a joined up approach going

i've often heard micheal schumacher,referred to as arrogant,so wrong.
for me arrogance is when people talk the talk,but cant walk the walk.
in F1 schumacher does both,better than anyone else,living or dead.
to succeed,confidence is a prerequisite.
in britain,this is often seen as arrogance,hence our build them up,to knock them down,attitude.

arrogance is a complete and utter lack of awareness of the potential and even the feelings of others and it is embedded in the selfish ego to be sure. Not a good trait in my opinion. |

If im browsing guys to join an event, and it reads 100% arrogant, the info/profile,it brings on a quick move to find someone "normal", Confidence with a sign of humility and humour are winners always!! |
