In preparation for series four, the first three series of Scandinavian drama The Bridge are now re-showing on BBC IPlayer.

Dash, you can finally catch up!

I adore this series and the characters.

No spoilers for those that haven’t watched, please.

There and to the left a bit

I second that recommendation - possibly the equal best crime drama (alongside Line Of Duty) that there's ever been!!

When's series 4 start?

Twin Peaks is first.

Then The Bridge.

It was slow at times, but a good storyline.

I can't get enough of these sort of programmes. Maybe it's just the subtitles I'm addicted to.

Tak! Hi hi!

Oh, good shout. The Bridge is excellent. Saga Norén is one of the best characters in recent TV. And its return shall help me get over missing Engrenages for a bit (it may also be the lack of seeing Audrey Fleurot on the big telly every week that has me pining).

Actually on a The Bridge related theme the UK/French version The Tunnel is worth a watch - the first series was pretty much a rehash of the Danish/Swedish one but the second series was a new story completely and it's interesting to see the different nuances bought to the Saga/Martin characters

Just discovered The Bridge and I bloody love it. I've been gorging myself on it on iPlayer which is ideal for me cause if I have to wait a week I've literally lost the plot. Also the subtitles are great cause I'm deaf as a post. Great characters and story lines. My new catchphrase...you know you all have one....is Saga Norén, Länskrim Malmö! Drives the family loopy.

J

(I'm not actually as decrepit as I've made out but I am getting on)

on the road to nowhere in particular

Can’t beat the Wire as no1 boxed set

I do like some scandic noir though and the killing is up there with the Dragon Tattoo trilogy.

The Bridge was good (the tunnel was dreadful) Borgen and Wallender (both Scandinavian versions)

Also a couple of good films with similar names but no connection

Headhunter

The hunters
