I just used an axe lol!! When I was young we used to have log chopping parties on a sunday afternoon and my housemate's bro would come with his chainsaw and slice fallen willow into 10" slices for us to chop!!

We'd get a load of wood in for winter, then cook sausages and gluhwien and all get smashed in front of a roaring fire, happy days!

great social times..

there is something satisfying in sorting ones wood out for the winter..

gluhwein used to taste better when in Germany and Austria than over here, funny how we see certain things when they are out of context..
