I know... a hot water bottle helps
Also sleeping on your side with a pillow between your legs |

Next stop sleeping pills. " I have an injury from a car crash years ago, flares up every now and then, so I use heat pads, they ease it a bit |

I have inflamed SI joints. My osteopath recommended cold packs then heat packs, pillow between the knees was another suggestion & stretching exercises as well as ibuprofen - anything stronger is just masking the pain rather than resolving the problem.
Pilates is also good for keeping it under control
If it’s bad at the moment, I’d definitely suggest an osteopath - they can work wonders! |

I second the osteopath suggestion.
Mine was so bad at one point that I couldn’t work. I was taking some really strong pain killers, using a tens machine and nothing helped. Eventually my doctor signed me off sick, I was off for a month in total. My osteopath was amazing! It hurt like hell at the time but with her help I was quickly back to work and haven’t had any issues since. I do still do my exercises every morning before I get up which I think is helping to prevent a recurrence |

horrible pain to have. chiropractor sorted me out when I had it - slept on the floor for 6 wks taking pain killers before I went to see him.
SI joint out of place, so he pushed it back in. walked in like the hunchback of notredam and walked out straight. |
