I've had both the X and the s9 and I've kept the S9 as it's a lot better phone

I know this is not your option, but just to let you know the iphone7+ has no stereo jack.

So you have to use an Apple adaptor to use the stereo jack. But you can’t charge your phone at the same time.......

So, I bought an aftermarket splitter and other after market chargers (one to keep at work as a back up) and my iPhone has rejected all of these each after a few days.

Apple don’t do their own splitter either

So I have to carry a stupid adaptor with me everywhere ...... and I’ve lost the adaptor a few times (which was frustrating) because it’s a piece of wire about 4cm long.

I don’t like the greed and thoughtlessness of Apple at the moment........

Never had an iPhone, had Samsung for years and always wanted to throw them out the bloody window! !

Bought a Moto g4 over a year ago and it's the best phone I've ever had and still performing, Samsung barely lasted 6 months before I wanted to smash it to bits!!

Masked and Distant

Never had anything but Samsung's.

Never had the urge to pay over the odds for an Iphone.

I love my Samsung. I think it's an A5.

I'd never buy into the Apple family. Once you're in you're fucked because they're not compatible with anything else.

Go for Nokia's new release, it is looking great. I am sure they will overtake the iPhone in next 5 years...

After years with an iPhone and the evil iTunes... I finally got fed up with it moving or deleting odd tracks from albums.

So I dumped it all, moved to android got the Samsung S8, not lost any music since the move.

Faults with both, don't like the androids method of using SD cards, or general file management. But do like the phone.

If you are going iPhone now is the time... After the iPhone X this years upgrade is going to be the iPhone WHY!

a Samsung, not that i would buy either, overpriced.

using a chinese xiaomi mi mix2 (5th largest phone manufacture), haven't bought a well known branded make since about 10 years now, chinese technology half the price, great quality.

Another iPhone to Samsung convert here and I've had every iPhone since the 3gs. Samsung is waay better in my opinion, you get so much more for your money without the incompatatability issues iPhone has. If you like taking pics the quality of the iPhone is still a long, long way behind.

I have the S8 for the record.

Gòod luck deciding.
