City/ Country/ Coast - which do you prefer?

Definitely coast.
I've always lived by the sea apart from 5 years when I lived inland in South Yorkshire. I felt 'uneasy' not having the sea nearby though and returned to the south coast.
I find a walk along the beach is one of the best tonics for a troubled / busy mind ever. |

"Coast... unfortunately the nearest coast to me is Rhyl
We're practically neighbours

Depends how you define funky really. |

I'm in between all 3.
A 20 minute train into the City of London; a 25 minute train ride to the coast and a 20 minute car ride to the country park.
I think I would like to retire by the sea though. |

I live in a man cave on a beach...
If you visit the cave and it's empty I'll be walking in fields or forests....
If not there I'll be in a city somewhere... |

Somewhere like Plymouth so you've got city nightlife and restaurants but get on the ferry and you're over to village beaches
One of my favourite work stop overs
Mind you I can be happy with a pub on a harbour with a pasty, cider and crab line |

Think I have best of all 3 ?
As i live in the country,on edge of the Lake District.
The coast at Morecambe Bay is a 15min drive.
And I regularly travel to London with work. |
