I know this is a strange question to ask on a swinging site....
Has anyone had any experience with canine lymphoma? My dog was diagnosed 3 months ago and has been responding very well to treatment up until the past 2 days. I haven't been able to get her to drink water at all today and now she's panting continually. Has anyone any suggestions (aside from call the vet... that'll happen first thing tomorrow!)? |

Ahh I’m sorry to hear that! Having had a stint in a practice, I do know that it becomes a little more serious when they’re not drinking water. I’d maybe recommend an out of hours call to be on the safe side! |

Can you try syringing some on the back of the dogs tongue? It might stimulate the swallow reflex.
Other than that, If I had something handy I'd possibly consider stomach tubing, but the chances you have a soft bit of tubing and suitable syringe are probably minimal. |
