Carry a black marker pen everywhere you go. When you come across signs with uxbridge on them add an "S" or "F" to the front. You'll feel better and, it will make others smile too. |

"Well I’m going to venture out tonight and risk it I think wish me luck as have know idea where to try "
Nightlife wise, Bar Italia is probably the best bet later in the evening.
The Crown and Treaty can be ok and the Swan and Bottle is a nice pub by the canal. The Fig Tree is also alright. |

I just Googled the Uxbridge Road to advise you how far east (about 15 miles) you had to travel for some action ..... until I came upon an interesting & very important historical fact (second) :
" In a 1912 book of verse Evelyn Underhill published a poem entitled "Uxbridge Road ."
But far more importantly:
" In 1972, the thirty-third episode of Monty Python's Flying Circus featured a sketch about a team of mountaineers "climbing" Uxbridge Road."
Stop complaining, you've clearly mega-scored & should be rejoicing by performing funny walks whilst climbing the dizzy heights of Uxbridge Road.
*see FAB KinK for more group details.

"I shop in Uxbridge sometimes... its not a bad town
Uxbridge used to be "way poshe"..... way back "
Really? Its way ordinary now. RAF Uxbridge has been flattened and they are building 1000s of flats and houses where it was so it might become posh again |
