"Has anyone else noticed how Easter has become more and more about giving kids more presents...
Don't they get enough ??
"
It seems to be. I limit my expenditure to a fiver per grandchild although it's usually a little gift rather than an egg... I leave the limit of their chocolate consumption up their parents. Me and Zed don't get each other chocolate eggs either. We may have a family picnic if the weather permits but I refuse to get drawn into constant blatant commercialism. |

There and to the left a bit |
I'm not sure it's become a mini-Xmas but it does seem the shops (and particularly the supermarkets) move seamlessly from pushing one holiday season to the next - seems Xmas is barely over before they're starting on Easter (with minor diversions for Valentine's Day and Mother's Day) then onto Summer, Halloween etc before back to Xmas again....
....there's no pausing for breath!! |

I enjoy buying gifts for my children, their partners and my grandchildren. Nothing wrong in it as far as i can see. I buy gifts all year round for them. Im naturally a very generous person so i think its good. |

Not in my house it's not. They get a few eggs and that's it. It's only the past 2 years I've noticed parents posting pics of massive piles of presents, I just think it's too much. But it will get to the point of "keeping up with the jones '" at Easter too, it's just stupid |
