Same. In fact I like most northern accents, especially Geordie.

Love a nice Irish accent (Republic rather than Nor’n) or an Aussie one. Also partial to an Eastern European accent as well.

Running through the posts, it looks like it's mostly Welsh for the guys and Irish for the ladies.

So do you guys have someone famous in mind when you think of your favourite accent. A bit of celeb fantasy perhaps?

Northern women. I have the deepest sathh landan accent so they like that and vice versa. Difficult conversation thought and being called ‘chicken’ during sex was weird

Do you know if you hold your nose really tight and then try and talk down it, you gain a Mancunian accent!!

It's unusual isn't it - so hard to take off too!! I was really impressed with Michelle Dewberry on Question Time recently, she is very articulate but still with a fairly strong Hull accent.

I like strong accents. Specially when the person is educated. So, hard to decide which one.

However I detest the talk of people that sound uncultured.

And a little advertising: If you're a German, French or Italian female and live at a reasonable distance, I'd love to hear from you. I'd like to make friends and practice your language sometimes.
