If you don’t manage your mailbox and leave all messages unanswered/unread will they hit a max number and then self regulate by the earliest ones dropping off?

Yes, I noticed this happened to me a few weeks ago. I uploaded a vag pic, got loads of messages, didn't even attempt to get through them and one day I logged in and the inbox fairies had been in and cleaned up

My mailbox is so empty I don’t think it would know what to do if it got a message

Mail gathers with the newest at the top, but as the box fills, the older ones drop out of sight.

Once you start deleting the ones you can see, the older ones reappear.

Every so often to keep house, the mail servers are blitzed by Admin so the unread and the old read messages are wiped out.

Site Supporters can save messages.

Blimey. 48 weeks and you still couldn’t decide what to say! I bet asking what you want for dinner takes ages.
