I lived through the eighties as a teenager..... loved the nineties but slowly falling in love with the music of the eighties all over again. Some very very good choices folks and thinking we were lucky to have experienced the days where we listened carefully on a sunday night lol fingers on the record and pause buttons. Thanks for the thousand trips down memory lane..launched by a handful of tunes from the colourful decade x  |

It's a bit of a repeat player for me! I saw The Beat with Ranking Roger live a couple of years ago. I'd really love to see Dave Wakeling and The English Beat though too. |

Don't hate it but Dexys did far better - Geno, There There My Dear, Jackie Wilson Said, Show Me to name a few
Geno was clearly one of the best songs of the 80s...."
How can anyone hate Eileen? Geno is quite nice but wont fill the dance floor like Eileen |

I don't hate Eileen but it has been played to death at weddings, on the radio etc, and Geno is far superior musically and lyrically IMHO |
