Tho i'm able to suspend belief for the sake of immersing myself in a drama , there are a few instances in Marcella that have stretched credibility too far.
What has been a step too far for you ? ( not just the normal too far that has to be there to make good viewing. I mean eh ? Oh c'mon now...... ) |

I was chatting to my Dad about it yesterday and he was equally confused. There are too many people involved I’m not sure how they’re going to tie it all together.
Still... I’d rather it be twisted than not. The latest series of Shetland was a bit of a disappointment really. Much too predictable. I like twisted.
I find lots of it less than credible cause I can’t imagine people behaving the way they do, probably cause I’d never behave like that. Is this the second last episode tonight? I’ve lost track. |

Yeah that’s the kind of bits I meant about behaviour... I mean you just wouldn’t would you? By all means be irate (not really the right word) that someone was driving off with your kid until you realise it’s someone you know... she’s unhinged and shouldn’t still be on the case. It’s far fetched in that respect. If you’d been beat up in that manner then surely you’d not be cool with it. Odd behaviour all round.

EXACTLY! I think that rather than reporting him she can now use him as she has leverage...... but she's not even asked him what he's seen, how long he's been doing it, why he does it, has he seen her booby doos ?

Well.......... as you ask, my thoughts are this.
When you make the decision to thwop your colleague with a toilet cistern lid. You don't really have much control over whether you knock him out or crush his skull and kill him. Or worse leave him brain damaged or crippled.
I also think it was all part of a plan. NOT the baby death ( which I don't believe she did and that will be uncovered in another series )
See...... one or two weeks ago she said to Tim...... Transfer me.... he said consider it done.
So the hair cutting, face cutting and fucking off are all part of a plan that was put in place but unseen by us. She was picked to go undercover ... and in order to take the job needed a credible cover story and someone to look after her kids. |

That charity turns out to be into human trafficking. Hence why Marcella needs to appear dead in order to go undercover.
I don't think she suffocated her baby. Either her son did it or baby died accidentally.
I've always been great in guessing storylines. Rarely been wrong with the soaps. So I'll be interested to see how Marcella season 3 turns out! |
