Also have you listened to and studio 606 sound city stuff? Do you know the first Foo Fighters album was written and played entirely by Dave Grohl, it was only when the album got released and a tour was planned did he actually find the then band members. If nothing else Dave alone is a bloody genius. Overated ! ! Pah . |

We managed to get tickets to see them in London, I can't wait!!!!

Great band, great man, don't think I've ever seen a bad word said about him by anyone either criticising their music or him as a person.

Great live, boring albums. Grohl is a good showman and has the formula for writing rock songs that appear to the masses; but I find them a bit safe and bland |

Vastly underrated. 10 times the band that Coldplay are (who have churned out turd for about 10 years now) yet they get fawned over.
Saw Foos at Wrigley Field, Chicago in 2015 when Grohl was on 1 leg and they were phenomemal. Taylor Hawkins ain't too bad with a pair of sticks either!
Have been looking forward to Olympic Stadium in June for about 6 months!  |

I’m not saying they’re not a good band. When interviewed Dave Grohl seems like a good guy and I’m sure they put on a good live show.
I just don’t get all the hype and I can’t hum a single one of their tunes.

Dave Grohl's a very talented guy as well as being a thoroughly decent bloke from what I've seen of him.
Sadly in today's music world bands like the Foo's get buried by a lot of the dross and insipidness that pollutes the airwaves when in the ideal world they'd be much more lauded over than they are. I'm not a massive fan but they're probably underrated if anything and not as well known as they should be in my opinion. |
