What thread/s can you remember from the past? I've inly been on and off the forums for a few years, but my favourite has to be the mattress one from about a year ago.
I believe the person that posted is still on the forum, but with a different name. Basically they just wanted to know the best way to get rid of a stained mattress. It doesn't sound much but the comments on it were highly amusing and how offended some seemed to be by it  |

I used to like the common activity threads when I first started. Many people all watching the 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony, for instance. I like the inclusive, getting along ones.

Either that or the guy who intended to refer to "having her doggy" but typed "shaving her doggy" that was comedy gold!! |

and a lady i cant remember the name of who was quite well versed in all things relationship - think she was in a poly relationship - shaved her hair i think for a cause - i didnt always agree but very interesting to read were the threads she started and most of what she wrote on others was worth a read

I presumed she would still be about. Like many but some change their name to keep you on your toes 
Whilst there are many "inclusive" threads, I don't find they stay that way for long, as always people can be overlooked as they're not a known person. |

Was the affair with his car an actual thread, or just a discussion about it in a newspaper? I'm sure I read about it in a newspaper or similar...  Maybe it was just on here. |

There was also one a few years ago by a guy who wanted advice on how to cut down a 10ft conifer in his garden. Anybody would have thought it was a Giant Redwood with the amount of fuss he was making about it  |

There was a great thread about unique events in your life that would never be repeated. There were some great examples. People who had achieved great things, met royalty, overcome illness, etc.
It was a very uplifting thread. |

I flit between the forums and chat, as they both become repetitive so switch between them so I don't become bored.
I hate it when I want to engage in a thread and it reaches the limit within a short time or it gets removed and I'm sat here like "what went wrong!"  |
