Reasonably straight forward question, but I'll add some background.
So my best friend has two daughters, one is 23 and the other just turned 18, and it would appear that the younger daughter gets a lot of unrequested dick pics sent to her via various social media apps. It led me to think about the number of dick pics we get sent on here, we don't want to see them, we do t ask for them, and still they come.
I'm not complaining here by the way, I'm not looking for a witch hunt or to castigate anyone for their dick pic habits, I'm just really intrigued to know why. I have an idea why some are sent;
The thrill of exposing oneself
The fact it's sexual contact in one way or another
Guys love their own cock and think everyone else would.love it as much as he does
I guess on here guys think it's a unique selling point in some way
And a myriad other reasons why.
I'd really like some honesty, but appreciate there may be fear of criticism, I'd ask anyone contributing to keep criticism to themselves or comment on another thread.
So please chaps, why did you send a Dick pic that wasn't asked for? I'll happy receive pm if you don't wish to reply here  |

Hands up.. in my earlier days when I didnt know any better, I used to do it thinking it was important.. but as time has gone and have matured slightly..its a total no no from me now. And thats not knocking anyone. |

I really appreciate you answering that, in my early days there wasn't the medium to do it and if have probably done it had I been born at a time when it was possible to do so.

I get sent pics/vids on social media from guys I've never interacted with and quite frankly it's so weird.
But what's even weirder is when you call them out on it, they're shocked as if they don't know that it's unacceptable behaviour. |

i agree.. on previous threads on here about cock size, or the ever reoccurring 'only men with 6 packs get meets', men seem to positively relish asking women what they think then completely ignore the replies... i think it just boils down to the fact that a lot of the time, all lot of men don't actually care what women think, it's pretty irrelevant to them.. |

I honestly think that some of them think its the only thing thats important and that women just see a cock as all they see is a pair of boobs or a fairy
Since ive put my cleavage up as our profile picture weve had a load of messages from blokes but all they see is a pair of tits not the actual person attached to them . So again is this all they see as important tits, cocks and pussies x |

Do women send strangers unsolicited pictures of their boobs or ‘flange’ though?
Yes, I send boob pics to Gomez to cheer his day up in work or whatever, but never to a random stranger via social media.
Some blokes do send dick pics randomly to people they have never spoken to.
I have a male friend who set up a fake account on FB to test this theory. He posted on a discussion thread on a random page & within a couple of hours he had about 20 different dick pics in his messenger inbox!! |

As a guy I too am as visually motivated as the next, and I adore the female form, my imagination runs wild with naked inspiration, so I can understand why guys mqy be dick centred, and to be fair mine brings me a lot of pleasure

No idea... I have such pics on my profile, but I have never thought to send them to anyone ... Because I could? If asked I would direct to my profile, if that isn't enough then only in the flesh would be enough I guess. I dither over sending winks, so unsolicited dick pix? Maybe it's because a lot of these guys don't realise that Women generally aren't turned on by visual images in the same way that men (generally) are. I think women (generally) need more of a mental stimulation first. |

I could rant all day about this, but I’m drained from my medication and sore.
My fourteen year old sister gets sent dick pics on snappy chat. She instantly blocks them and doesn’t respond - which gets her bullied! She’s got a few guys from school excluded (more for bullying her after her blocking them) but it’s a joke.
I got a boy excluded from school for sending me dick pics and saying he wanted to r A pe me. School told me not to bother going to the police, I always regretted that. |

I read this entire thread hoping that at least one guy who does send them might give a reason.... purely out of interest, as, like the OP, I would genuinely like to know from a guy's perspective what the motivation is... especially when 90% of the time it'll result in them being blocked or at least ignored. But I can't see anyone having given their reason for doing it.... just a lot of supposition from people who don't do it. That's not me having a go at anyone for giving an opinion by the way... just saying its a shame that the OP's question hasn't solicited any definitive answers |
