Everything seems to have come to a standstill round here

The silence is deafening

Anyone else under the white stuff

Spent 10 hours are an airport yesterday, 4 hours sat on the tarmac for flights to be cancelled. Horrendous drive home last night for good measure.

Mad over here in Barnsley OP too. Main roads were pretty clear last night going in to Sheffield but otherwise side roads are essentially no go areas

Plenty where I am,not bothered about the snow,it's the bloody wind that's the problem. It's a total whiteout looking out of the window. Worst to come, ive got to take the dog out soon.

Poland for our anniversary. Sad thing is that where we were going has more snow and is -18 today, are the planes grounded? Err no!

Interesting day though

I haven't looked yet but it'll probably be a fine dusting - we don't often get 'proper snow' here on the south coast.

IM in north Oxfordshire and I’m meant to be driving to work for 11 but they insisted I have a laptop so I can work from home in case of the weather but now I’m sure they’re going to make me come in?! What’s the point of the laptop then!!!

Anyway I messaged my manager with photos of the road and my car snowed in so we will see what she says...

I had to scrape about 6 inches if snow off my car before I could get in it. The roads near me seem untreated but the main roads were ok

There's a reasonable covering here but not deep enough to really be a nuisance.
