We only respond to winks if the winker has clearly read our profile and matches what we are looking for. We get a lot of winks from people who clearly havent read it as they definitely dont match.
Winks can and do work, when we were singles on here, i sent Billy a wink, and here we are 5 years later, still playing and very much in love.

I think the idea behind a wink is you can just leave a sign you’re interested and then if they are too they can contact you back. Trouble is some people see it as a lazy way of making contact then ignore it. Having said that, sending a message doesn’t seem to help either. I always try to be polite but rarely seem to get responses. Nature of the beast tho lol |

people say they get 100s of messages a day (I get about 10), so going from what I get they'll have more winks than messages and I never look at winks.
