It is fair to say that even those of us who struggle for a message a day are prone to looking at avatar and first few words and forming a judgement from there.
One thing I've not seen mentioned and other ladies often talk about, you reply with a nice polite 'no thanks not my type' and end up with email tennis ensueing, or they get nasty. So alas it is often easier to not reply.
Doing your own searching, and building a hotlist of people you'd like to play with can help, as you can see their status/meet updates.
Another is going to one of the socials, where its more sit down chat and see what people are like in the flesh. Also helps to sort out the ones who write a lot but never leave their basement home. |

OP well done you for putting pics up and they are very nice indeed. I accept anyones wish to not put pics up, its a very personal thing, but if it was a confidence issue then its great that you've decided to go for it, stand proud, I'm not surprised your inbox has increased  |
