What is your biggest mistake you ever made in your life, for me it was at the age of 26 where I pick up 4 guys giving them a lift in my car which I regretted. They robed me of my car at that time which made the whole family moved back to the UK? |

Inviting my husbands family to our wedding and trying to make peace. Was a waste of time, they didn’t enjoy themselves and moaned all day, and it made our wedding day miserable. |

Honestly cannot say. I've made mistakes but always found that the outcomes afterwards have always made them worth going through. If I were to change them I wouldn't be the person I am today and that's not worth giving up as I could be very diferent and unhappy about it.
I regret not following a true love to America. She got a semi permanent job there with the National Geographic Magazine in Yellows tone National Park area. I made the choice not to go and it's hurt ever since especially when I got an email about 6 months after saying how much her heart had been broken but she understood the difficulties I faced with having young daughters here. Still hurts today.
But as I said I'd not be who I am now and my daughters nay have suffered more if I'd gone. So a right choice. |

I had an abortion when I was 21. At the time there was a lot going on in my life and I believed I couldn't cope... but now I think it would have been okay in the end.
Biggest regret of my life. |

I guess I have a few.
Keeping friends that weren’t good for me and stabbed me in the back!
Not visiting a friend before he passed away.
Not getting a degree as I chose to go to work.
Not finding Fab sooner

There and to the left a bit |
There are a few some of which still have an impact today - but the one that had the biggest impact on my life as a whole was leaving the Navy after 3-4 months at the age of 17 and for all the wrong reasons that my arrogant teenage self wouldn't listen to. |

That things didn't go as I hoped with my ex 10 years ago, we didn't fall out but circumstances meant we were apart for 8 months and she met someone else. I still miss her sometimes (not in a weird stalkery way) and a deep down part of me probably always will I guess. |

Being in a certain place and a certain time that meant I met someone who came close to destroying my whole life.
I don't regret much but if I'd have been anywhere else I would have saved myself years of heartbreak and toxic destruction. |

Not going for half of my first husband's pension! If I had I could have been retired by now. But not a serious regret as I was determined not to be seen as a gold-digger, which I definitely am not. |

Marrying my ex husband. I stood outside the church seriously debating walking away. I decided I couldn’t embarrass him in that way. I went through with it and it ended in divorce.
I was serving in the army and we got married earlier than expected as he was going to Bosnia and I was being sent to Ireland.
Needless to say I never married again

Getting married...
I should have just lived with him, as that way it would have been easier to just walk away instead of having to wait over 5 yrs to divorce him! |

I’d say you made the right choice. Leaving your kids behind would have eaten away at you and you’d never be happy. Kids come first mate but I feel your pain. I lost the love of my life for similar reasons. |

"Not staying in education. Biggest regret by far! "
There's no age limit. I left uni two years ago. During my college days, there was a 75 yr old man studying for his diploma and City and Guilds in plumbing. On my carpentery course there was a mid 40s guy.

They've generally been good experiences, to learn from and help me become more determined in my life. Plenty of things haven't worked as I expected but we have to let them go, once we've learned. Relationships, career, family, how I've chosen to live and behave, I've had tons of stuff that's been a bit or a lot wrong. I kissed goodbye to a great partner, with a lot of pain but really opened up my life and feel better for it. |

Three regrets.
1). When at 18, though offered a role as a Trainee retail manager with the Hudson's Bay Co of Canada working inside the Arctic Circle learning fur trading with Eskimos, I turned it down. That was 1973 on a salary then equal to £22k!
2). Another job offer, this time with a major US company, based in New York. Their Vice President had been impressed with my liaison skills looking after him with his conference at hotel I worked in. Salary + accom + chauffeured car + medical & other benefits totalling in excess of £80k pa. I turned him down for reasons too lengthy to explain. He made 2nd offer; package upped to £100k but I still declined.
3). Not marrying my fiancee in 1992. Despite our split 2 months before wedding for agreed reasons, it was more my fault (as hindsight proved). Just wish I could've reversed time!). Still think of her DAILY to this day. |

I've made mistakes but can't say I regret any of them as I learned from each and everyone but I do regret believing my high school teachers that I was thick and I'd never amount to anything. Why did they think that because I was dislexic and this was way before it was known about. I heard them words each and everyday till I left and thouraly believed them and why wouldn't I but Then I got into cars and bikes. If I was so thick how come I could strip and rebuild engines and it all make perfect sense to me. When I realised the answer to that question my life begun..... |

I should have dated more in my 20s but I had a 10 yr long term relationship all through my 20s. Now mid 30s and living the life I should have done in my 20s! Although I have more confidence in myself now and love the single life. But still feel I should have explored more the type of guy I want.
Although my ex and I bought a house. I remortgaged and bought him out. Then sold house a few years later. Got shed loads of equity from it. Haha. Every cloud has a silver lining I guess! Haha. |
