Mediocre entertainment for the masses from the few snippets I've seen.
I think PVR's mean the need to fill the daytime schedule is less now, since those around during the day can timeshift the evenings TV (e.g night shift people). I remember the days of Pebble Mill at One and how it was a chance to sit down for lunch for mother, and escape us pestering her during school holidays.
I like my TV to be an escape (films) or stimulating (BBC Four these days), or the category that is missing is the erotic/sensual (thank god for chat rooms and cam sites I say) |
