Quick question guys, does an athletic body really put ladies off nowadays? I put a lot of effort in to keep myself in shape but even if I didn't, my job requires me to be in shape....
Is it just the era of 'dad bod'? |

It absolutely doesn't put me off! But I think having an athletic body may put some people off, especially those with body confidence issues, rationale being that some may think you're unobtainable or wouldn't find an average or curvier body attractive. Just a thought x |

Let you're personality come through rather than you're pics.. a lot of women may think a guy who is in shape may think he's too good for me and therefore makes a woman look easy.. |

Obviously a six pack looks very good,but as someone's already said..meeting someone that fit would make me feel sooooo self-conscious about my wobbly bits! so I wouldn't do it x |

I've not gone one and had messages saying you probably prefer better bodies, women who are slimmer etc .. I don't get it .. it's a body.. no good having a good body if you've got the personality of a wet fish |

Equating slimness with beauty is very much a modern phenomenon and a result of the brainwashing we've had to endure over the last few generations. We've been told this is how it should be for so long we actually believe to be true.
If you delve deep into ancient history you will see that all the depictions of the Goddess (the ultimate woman) show her as having a belly and curves, even to the point of being 'fat'. This is true across all ancient religions the world over, Egyptian excepted.
This has been the case throughout history, in Medieval and Renaissance art (the Roman Goddess Juno used to describe these figures) up to quite recently. |

I'm fortunate that I don't have a confidence or an ego problem.
I don't need to fuck fit men to swell my head, nor do I shy away from stripping off in front of them. They are men to me, the same as all the other men. |

One of my first regular partners, many moons back, was a 23 yr old, rugby playing ex Royal Marine.
Although I was in slightly better shape than I am now, and he was lean with a 6 pack,the idea that he was too hot for me never crossed my mind. We chatted for months before I met him and it was his character and personality that won me over. I didn't see him naked until the first time we met. I was enjoying myself too much to care about what either of us looked like. |

Thanks for the responses, the body just comes with the job and I am comfortable in my own skin, but I think it's always good to get another person's views on things. I understand of course that the mind is far more potent than the body. We are all susceptible to our flaws at times and not everyone sees you the way that you do |
