I've always had very vivid dreams and many recurring dreams over the years, however, I have noticed that a lot of my dreams tend to be set in the same place and with similar structures, to the point where I'm beginning to wonder if this place is a real place I've been to!

Do you have vivid or recurring dreams?

What do you make of them?

Ive had a couple of recurring dreams one of which started about 8 years ago, and i had quite regularly some days in a row others months apart, still have it on occasion. Or very similar story line with different characters

Do you think it means anything?

No. I don't even have to be asleep.

But if the ending ever changes then maybe I would tell the whole world....

When i was young ( a very very long time ago ) My Nan used to come and stay with us once a month . Every time she stayed over I used to dream that I floated up in the air looking down on her sleeping . I have no idea how or why and never will

Ive no idea, from briefly looking on google at meanings of thing in dreams, looking at the main story and happenings, it relates to there being an unresolved issue in my life that im trying to avoid dealing will, but it can only be resolved by myself confronting it...

So its possible with it recurring throughout life. Im just hoping it doesnt mean what it appears to show

May I ask Strumps of a description of this place . It might help us understand it a bit better ??

I used to as a kid. I used to dream our house was getting burgled and I'd hide in my parents room in the ottoman. It was a little see through, and I'd watch them come into the room, find me, and I locked eyes with one of them as he was walking towards the ottoman. I'd wake as he opened the lid.

Fucking hated it.

It'salmost like a whole town...hidden in a real location...there's a park, cemetery, houses, a garden centre, lots of unusual cars and shops...it's definitely not real, tho I think aspects of it may be. It's always quite a traumatic dream, but almost always different...it's just the place that's the same.

I can only guess but I'd suggest the town is a representation of yourself, but the different scenarios within that place are your struggles with day to day life and solving your issues . Just a guess but I've done some research on this in the past xx

I have the one dream that comes about 4 or 5 times in a month. It's always set in the same place. I couldn't tell you where but even when awake it is familiar to me. In the dream I'm about 6 or 7 and sitting on a stairs. I know my parents aren't around in the dream but there's a stranger sitting beside me. He is in teens. I won't go into the rest as it's upsetting

I'm doing a sleep study before I move, my dreams cause a lot of anxiety and I want to try and get to the bottom of some...I'm gonna start a dream diary and keep track of them...I'll let you know the outcome!

It's not. I often wake up crying and covered in sweat. I've been having the same dream since my teenage years. Don't know where it came from. Have spoken to my mum about and she said the place I am dreaming of is most likely our old house.

I'm on list for counselling. So hopefully that happens soon and hopefully they get to the bottom of it.

I only have dreams that I remember when something is troubling me in my life. They will tend to be bad ones for obvious reasons. But it's a rare occurrence.

I used to dream about going back to school. For years this went on. It was always the same that I would meet my friends but didn't actually make it to the school or I would be late. Either way I never went into the building. Also about going to raves. The first one I got told was about wanting to change my past and the second was just good memories x

I never remember my dreams but I do get vivid hallucinations accompanying sleep paralysis at times. That isn’t fun!

I get the odd night terrors, it was something that triggered in my first pregnancy. It went on all through the pregnancy and was horrible! Never had it with my second at all but the odd time now I get them. Not recurring but always really vividly violent and usually makes me cry in my sleep which eventually wakes me up..I’ve had partners wake me up asking me why I’m crying and panicked

My favourite dream is the feeling of falling though love it...and yes I’ve dreamt I hit the ground and haven’t died lol

I used to have one when I was a kid of my whole family and I running down a white spiral staircase in a pitch black room and one by one I would see a member of my family fall off the side and fall into the dark, then all of a sudden the stairs would stop and I would just fall off and wake up before I hit the ground.
