I love all things Motorsport, bikes included although I always forget to watch lol!

I'm currently looking to sell my "weekend" car and I'm looking to have a dabble into bikes, never done it before but I'm getting the urge.

I have watched the TT for years, loved it then and would love to go again.

Went over there back in 99, missed out on having a go as a passenger in Molyneux sidecar outfit. He was supposed to be doing a demonstration show at Jurby , but he blew his engine up in a race.

Not had the chance to ride a superbike yet. I’m hoping a hot lady will sweep me off my road bike and take for a blast on her bike and then maybe her

I've had about 25 bikes over the years, I used to strip them down to every last nut & bolt and rebuild them. I've been to the IOM a few times as well as quite a few tracks in the UK. A load of us used to go to Assen as well in the late 80's early 90's

Close to the line?

I saw the moto gp from the pit area, it was okish.

Watching the TT at Creg ne baa, the bikes are flying past at less than 3 foot away. Believe me moto gp doesn't compare to the excitement.

Even Cameron Donald said.

Track racing is like rock climbing with a rope.

The TT is doing it without the rope.

Been to the TT a few times, laurel bank is my fave place to watch, sitting by the side of the road about 3 feet away from the racers......

When I was at uni I lived only a hop skip & a jump away from Donington & we used to go & watch bsb & wsb there.

Personally prefer the TT for the lunacy though

I started at 16 with a fizzy then an rs100, then an LC350 which I wish I still had now love my stinkwheelers I do

Last big bike I had was an EXUP ru 20 years ago, king of the hill until rendered a 'touring' bike overnight by the fireblade.....

So I've had a few smaller machines I've bought & sold since then but I figured now I'm a coffin codger & the kids are a bit older I should buy myself something sensible to do a bit of bimbling about on

So I bought a Daytona 675.....

325cc less than the EXUP but wayyyyy lighter & makes more power!

To say it's an entertaining little scooter would be an understatement..... Sweet baby Jesus & the orphans it gets down the road!

Hoping the bloody weather clears up so I can get out for more fun on it soon

That’s good to know there’s some bikers among us all then Iv done a fair bit of racing in the past still do a little now although not as much as I’d like,

I raced at the manx gp (same circuit as the tt) a few years back so know the place well.

This years tt is heating up abit with mcguiness signing for norton and then for Micheal Dunlop to race the Honda 600 in the super sport class... gonna be a good year.

Moro gp kicked off last week and was a great 1st round that also looks to be an exciting year ahead, big fan of Rossi but me personally o think dovi deserves a shot at the championship he’s so underrated the guy is talented.

Bsb next weekend

Oooooo I love summer

Best place I’ve watched is bottom of begarrow you really do see the bikes working through there

When things have settled down a bit, I am after a 748. Always loved the Ducatis, just never ridden one. I bet they are similar in handling to an R6, just a whole lot better.

I used to sit on the wall opposite and you occasionally saw puffs of smoke where they brushed the house and then drifted out and nearly touched my legs.

Not viewed from there for years, they talked about moving people away from my old viewing area ?
