I need to re-home a dog. It's a small terrier, and tends to bark a lot. If you're interested, let me know and I'll jump over next door's fence and get it for you

We have a cocker spaniel but my wife is allergic, so I'm looking to find her a new home.

She's 46 years old, house trained and goes by the name of Aimee.

Going to keep the dog tho

It's not a real dog, just a joke.

Sorry about the loss, it's losing a member of the family.

Yorkies hate me... last time I fostered one he caused €1700 of damage in a week. A scorned Latina woman couldn't do that if she tried!

We rehome dogs, often the problem ones.

On the barking, your parents could approach the neighbour to talk things over but I get the feeling that, if the dog is locked out in the garden all day, you're not going to get a reasonable response.

So, keep a 'barking dog noise diary': get your parents (esp. your dad as he's the one most disturbed) to log when the barking is occurring and disturbing him; include having to close windows etc.

Then, if the problem is persistent, contact the Environmental Health Team or the Dog Warden through your local council

See section 82 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990.
