I imagine that's easier to get over and move on.
Dumping someone by text seems cold and harsh. However sometimes needed.
I had a long distance relationship years ago. We saw each other every weekend. One weekend I travelled to him then visa versa. Nearly 5 years we lasted and nope neither cheated.
For many reasons I won't go into I ended it by text. Wanted to end it for months but kept chickening out. Thought things would progress. They didn't! So it was a case of I had to do it there and then or I'll chicken out again.
Only reason why was I thought it worse if he travelled all that way to see me, only to be dumped and having to drive home straight away. |
