Slough Windsor ish |
Winks, Fabs...all boring and lazy... Worse (and we have had same guy doing this for three weeks now) adding as a friend withno other attempt to contact. He even ignores the polite "Hi you've added us as friends but we don't recognise you, have we met at a club or something?" He reads the message and deletes it. So we delete the request and behold a few hours laterit reappears and the cycle starts again
Half of me wants to block him but its not got THAT annoying yet |

"Couple who find you attractive and wink because they can't be bothered to send a message are annoying! Pure annoying
Cheers..."
Yeah, tedious isn’t it - beng on a site where women like the look of you. Such a chore to respond to a wink.
Get over yourself. |

In fairness to the OP there are plenty of couples and women who say the same thing about winks.
I tend to check them every now and then and wink back if anyone catches my eye. Bulk delete if you don't like would be my thoughts! |

Just ignore them then?
But this os where there is a very clear gender difference, women and couples on here can afford tpo ignore the winks as they get so many, it;s not the case for most men though is it? So why ignore a show of interest? |

I don't mind winks actually, from couples or others. It's a way of knowing someone is possibly interested in meeting you. I don't see the problem myself. It's part of Fab. If it annoys you OP, why bother looking at winks in the first place? XXX |

I actually don't see the problem of winks (especially if everyone had good profiles). Surely it'd be better if normal etiquette was to look at a profile and if you liked it send a wink. Then alerted to your interest if the other party liked your profile and pictures to wink back. Then mutrual attraction can be established (or not as the case maybe) before people exchange messages?
I know this isn't the norm on FAB but makes sense to me. So I am never offended by a wink. Altgough it would probably be fair that the person who winks first messages after a successful counter wink? |

"Don't look at your winks if they annoy you. Problem solved
Careful now - that sounds almost sensible "
I know. I forgot I was on the forum for a moment. What I meant to say was... report the bastards then block their arse! How very dare they?! |
