Straight men sometimes get the piss taken out of them on the forums by people inferring that they are secretly bisexual or gay.
For example when a straight man says it makes him feel uncomfortable when a man fabs his pic. Or when a straight man says he wants a woman to fuck him with a strap on and people say he's bi and really wants a cock.
Do you think this piss taking contributes to bi men feeling they need to hide the fact that they are bi?

This has been discussed so many times before and for me it infuriates me
The amount of straight guys messaging me wanting to meet and play is about on average 40 a day. Thier profile clearly says straight all thier verifications are with women but they want to perform on me.
Many men from my experience who say they are straight prefer to hide the fact they are bi as they feel it may affect thier chances with women as they feel it’s a turn off for women to be with a bi guy. Untrue a lot of women and couples love it
If you want to be true to yourself and experience the full extent of your sexuality be true to yourself and don’t lie about your preference this is the naughties it’s a free world where we can be who we are and say what we want |

If they are asking you to play they are not truly straight and are lying to themselves. For me, I'm straight amd wouldn't think about a guy doing anything to me. |

Why are we all so hooked on sexuality? If I find somebody attractive it actually becomes imperative that I like their personality, regardless off what they look like or their sex. As a society we aren’t yet fluid enough about this.
Religion has screwed us all up in this way! The Romans nailed it! |

I think it's partly the piss taking that makes them hide their true sexuality, but also fear of being recognised and worried it will affect their chances with others (those who won't play with bi guys etc)
I recently added a meet looking for a fully bi guy to join me and a bi guy I know, I received around 20 responses, every single guy had straight on his profile, and the reasons I've listed above were the reasons they gave. |

If a man wants to Fab my pics, cool. If I think a man is good looking and is in good shape, that’s cool as well.
I wear pink t-shirts and like watching romcoms, who doesn’t like dirty dancing??
But I’m the straightest guy you’ll ever meet, I might act “gay” but I’m not |

People on here can hide their “outside persona” and be who they want, without any judgement from friends or family. |

Once a guy messaged me on CL replying to my add for meets with my former FWB. But when I said it was mmf I wanted he got very nasty and told me to "Fuck off, I,m not gay!" When I pointed out that neither was my FWB, he changed his mind but I told him to get lost.

Loads of women and couples won't meet a bi man. It's easier to say straight then explain to couples who want a bi man. Put bi and the ones looking for straight will block or ignore. |

Why do you keep calling them straight men? Those are clearly gay or bi men in the closet pretending to be straight men. Let's start calling it what it is... Gay and bi men who, for some reason like to use the straight label. |

Bisexuals and gay Woman are more tolerated in society, than a man I think.
When it’s a woman, it’s seen as “sexy”, but men get the hard end of the stick, not just literally. |

This is a bi and gay community issue. They seem to love using the 'straight' label to trick people who don't want to meet them, then they turn around and claim that it's straight people who are secretly gay or bi... Huh? It's gay people and bi people who are secretly so and pretending to be straight. Why does the gay and bi community do this? Why do straight people get the blame? There are absolutely zero straight people who are messaging the same gender. |

Everyone should be encouraged here to express themselves how they feel. Bi women are never in question when these threads come up because for many men this is a major turn on for them.
For Bi men it’s more about openness and acceptance. I am a straight guy in a bi body. I used to meet guys who showed an interest but I stopped as it was more of a curiousness for them to be with a TV. All these guys were straight or so thier profiles stated. Now when a straight guy messages me I always ask why they aren’t saying they are bi and the most common reply is because they are straight even though they made the first contact.
I still fab guys photos because I like to acknowledge good looks and what I like to see.
We need to be just open with ourselves and once we do this we will all be happy |

For the most part but not universally and it depends what you admit to and what your pictures look like.
OP, I don't think anything cruel is acceptable but I don't think there is any more piss taken than for other things.
I believe we're all on that famous spectrum so some will be firmly at either end. That's a good thing. If they decide to dabble further along the spectrum then find it's not for them then that's also good. Let people be themselves.

From experience choosing to put we were both bi on here was a big challenge mentally . And tbh it’s made little difference to anything . We probably get a few more messages than before but not loads. We do get the single male messages saying nice cock or whatever as well though.
We tend to accept that guys won’t admit to be being bi publicly as there’s people on this thread saying they are straight but have messaged us before saying they are bi.
However in ten years it will be the opposite and there will be very few guys who admit to just being straight |

"I think it's partly the piss taking that makes them hide their true sexuality, but also fear of being recognised and worried it will affect their chances with others (those who won't play with bi guys etc)
I recently added a meet looking for a fully bi guy to join me and a bi guy I know, I received around 20 responses, every single guy had straight on his profile, and the reasons I've listed above were the reasons they gave.
People on here can hide their “outside persona” and be who they want, without any judgement from friends or family. "
No they can't. There's always a risk of being spotted by someone who knows you. It's happened to me twice that I know of in the last year.
For some people that's enough reason to keep their sexuality private. |

"I think most men do wonder what it would be like to be with another guy ...
A lot wouldn’t admit it...
Because of how other people would treat them for it.
No one has ever give me grief for having straight on my profile but talk about enjoying kicking a pussy.
Kicking pussies is just cruel you bad lady "
Some women like that kind of stuff |

"This is a bi and gay community issue. "
A very good point |

I’d say that’s incredibly unlucky.
But men and women can private message anyone on here, they wouldn’t go up to in a bar, or they would have “the piss” taken out of them for it. It’s like a non reality world for sex. |

"This has been discussed so many times before and for me it infuriates me
The amount of straight guys messaging me wanting to meet and play is about on average 40 a day. Thier profile clearly says straight all thier verifications are with women but they want to perform on me.
Many men from my experience who say they are straight prefer to hide the fact they are bi as they feel it may affect thier chances with women as they feel it’s a turn off for women to be with a bi guy. Untrue a lot of women and couples love it
If you want to be true to yourself and experience the full extent of your sexuality be true to yourself and don’t lie about your preference this is the naughties it’s a free world where we can be who we are and say what we want"
This is true. It's why we think there's over half of women in couples who are bi as it's seen as an attractive quality, but probably only 10% of men max?
Though I'd disagree with one thing you put, as the noughties ended over 8 years ago! Someone needs to come up with a name for this stupid decade before it finishes surely! |

To answer the original question OP no I don't think it contributes to men hiding the fact they are bi at all, as this thread, and others, have shown, one of the main reasons men don't declare they are bi is the belief that it will increase their chances of meeting the minority of people who state they won't meet bisexual men - what those that do it for that reason fail to realise is there are just as many women and couples who actively seek bisexual men as those that won't meet them - so by opening one door they're actually closing another.

I think you're right. Given that the pool of bi men is significantly smaller than straight men, I think you increase your chances of a meet if you are openly bi. |

No , I think bi men might hide their sexuality because they are not seen the same as bisexual women by some people. They also could be doing it so that they fit in with people who only want straight men.
I think inferring that people are bi even though they say they are straight is not fun for some people being accused. I don't hold with the " everyone has some degree of bisexual in them " Some people know what they are and know their own mind.
If every bisexual was accused of being straight every time they posted a pic or spoke I am sure it would get tedious too. |

In any real sense, you probably wouldn't call us bi. We are primarily attracted to the opposite sex and have only ever had relationships with members of the opposite sex.
However, we both enjoy same sex play in the right situation, so we say we are bi on here as we view it as meaning no more than "willing to play with the same sex". |

I don’t think anyone is accusing anyone of anything on here. The Bi issue has been spoken about many times before and for me why hide your sexuality be proud of it.
The main reason that I see men say they are straight is so they can keep thier options open. many are bi curious never been with another male in any way. The messages i get suggest they want to play with me. a TV and they are very descriptive in what they want t do.
I see myself as a straight bi guy with no curiosity whatsever |

"Straight men sometimes get the piss taken out of them on the forums by people inferring that they are secretly bisexual or gay.

We are British and its its our DNA to use friendly banter to take the piss just a little..
If it offends some then, in this instance, they clearly are not being true to themselves (as clearly stated right at the start) although Fab straight male is a tar brush that is applied to all men on Fab that state they are straight, i am personally not bothered by that label at all.
However, having worked in a number of gay pubs and clubs across our great capital, I have seen first hand the guys walking into the bars taking off their wedding ring or the white un-tanned band where the ring once adorned.
There are many gay and bi men out there that have that secret and don't want it known to family and friends.. Yes, they live a lie but the acceptance of peoples sexuality is still in the early years.
Its not that long ago thT homosexuality was illegal and for those of us that remember the 70's, being gay was acceptable for poking fun at..You will all remember "Im Free" from Are you being served which was a light hearted use of a stereotype but still perfectly acceptable and pretty harmless.. (gratuitous talk of Mrs Slocombes pussy was probably not)
Why some hide their sexuality is personal to them, whether to avoid bigotry or family hurt and really we should not judge them for it. |

What a ridiculous comment born out of ignorance of how sex and sexuality can differ widely for each of us as individuals - just because you like anal play as a male doesn't for the remotest moment mean you are bi or gay - you just happen to enjoy the sensation it brings!! |

So where does the thought Police stand on streight guys fabing pictures of male + female couples? I am an old romantic and love seeing pictures of genuine loving couples because it makes my day to see happy couples in this broken world. So I sometimes fab pictures of couples looking happy together. Would the the thought police say that's gay of me? It's ridiculous that people judge without context. At the end of the day the internet is full of people who are just mean or think their Sherlock Holmes. It is sad that evidently from what people have said that even in this age some people still feel pushed into hidding. And your right OP this attitude of calling people with little context or knowlage of the individual can't help. It's still a judgy world even on fab. All I can suggest is be true to yourself and not worry about voices who think they know you better than you. |

A lot of people have the piss taken out of them, or are joked with on the forum about a lot of different things. A lot of people have their opinions challenged, disagreed with or disputed on the forum about a lot of different things. Many of these pisstakes, jokes, challenges, disagreements and disputes infer something on the OP that the poster is framing rightly or wrongly from their perception, that can be at odds with the OP’s opinion.
Humour is tricky as is subjective. It is important that a person joking with well-meaning intent is open to hearing someone say stop, and that it’s uncomfortable for them. At that point I think it’s good to back up your humour, your telling them that they think otherwise and acknowledge that it has upset. If debating, telling someone what you think feel etc is different from telling someone that they should perceive it the same way and are incorrect for doing so. It works for all interactions, we have differing sensitivity and experience. One no more valid than the other. Treating people with respect and dignity if they’re indicate discomfort is just common decency. |

Do you think this piss taking contributes to bi men feeling they need to hide the fact that they are bi?
"
In response to this specific scenario, my answer - it might do in some cases but not all. I’m not a bi man, so don’t know. |

"If someone said "Black people keep fabbing my pictures, but i don't want to meet black people!" and I happened to be black myself, I'd make sure I fabbed the shit out of that bigots pictures! "
How do you get “bigot” from that......?, that’s not finding black people attractive or have any sexual desire to sleep with a black person.
We all have preferences. You’re not a bigot, racist, facist, or neo- nazi, for not finding someone attractive.
You must be from the “offended” generation

"This has been discussed so many times before and for me it infuriates me
The amount of straight guys messaging me wanting to meet and play is about on average 40 a day. Thier profile clearly says straight all thier verifications are with women but they want to perform on me.
Many men from my experience who say they are straight prefer to hide the fact they are bi as they feel it may affect thier chances with women as they feel it’s a turn off for women to be with a bi guy. Untrue a lot of women and couples love it
If you want to be true to yourself and experience the full extent of your sexuality be true to yourself and don’t lie about your preference this is the naughties it’s a free world where we can be who we are and say what we want
This is true. It's why we think there's over half of women in couples who are bi as it's seen as an attractive quality, but probably only 10% of men max?
Though I'd disagree with one thing you put, as the noughties ended over 8 years ago! Someone needs to come up with a name for this stupid decade before it finishes surely!"
Considering its the 10s and we are on a swingers site how about the dicksies...oops fruedian slip...I meant the dixies |

"If it wasn't for gay and bi men I'd have about 2 fabs between my two pictures haha they're a godsend if you want some fabs. Lousy that they need to hide because some people will rule them out if they're not straight "
People are ruled out because of their ethnicity, age, weight, height, marital status, location, whether they accommodate or not and yes, shock, horror their sexuality.
I truly struggle to understand why some people believe they should have universal appeal. We're on a site to find "like minded playmates. For me, like minded means white, straight, single, sub men, over 50. That is my criteria for playmates of here and I don't deviate from that. I used to meet bi men but they didn't respond to certain things the way I liked. I know not all bi men are the same, however, the ones I met were enough to realise bi men weren't for me...and so what?
There are loads of people on site: a smorgasbord of delight if people would be honest with themselves, leave others to find their playmates and not over think everything. |

I think that the desire to appeal to everybody just to get meets often perhaps in desperation, prevents people from having the confidence be themselves.
The irony is that self-confidence, honesty and self awareness are attractive qualities that get lost in the single straight fab guy persona.
Personally I'm as straight as they come, I pretend to be bi to make myself more interesting. If you don't believe me you can ask my boyfriend. |

For example when a straight man says it makes him feel uncomfortable when a man fabs his pic."
I have no idea if my images have been 'Fabbed' and, if they have, I have no idea by whom.
I tend to look at the Pics section, most days with the selector set to 'women'.
I'll open up an image if I like the content, or I'm curious to know where some unknown place is (it's a FS geography learning experience).
I might run through the other images, and read the profile, and I'll drop a 'Fab' on those photographs that impress me, either because of the content content or photographic skills (I particularly like B&W).
I might, occasionally, 'Fab' a penis if the image is stunning; think Robert Maplethorpe, Terry Richardson or Jan Saudek kind of stunning.
I don't think that makes me bi or gay; I just appreciate the eroticism of a decent photograph. |

"If you can't handle people you're not interested in looking at you and fabbing your pics then i don't think swinging is for you. "
In case a bi man wants to accidentally suck his knob? |

He could have just had a gender fluid moment . In which case he was a she at the moment the other guy sucked his knob . So the guy who sucked his knob was straight at the time , as was he/she , and the knob that was being sucked was infact a rather large clitoris , and not a knob at all .
As long as the gf moment lasted as long as it took to reach orgasm , it would have been a completely straight act . And don’t anyone dare to suggest otherwise ...... |

Why not? Some people are exhibitionists and some aren't. Some want to fuck in a public room and some just want to have a 4some in a private room.
If the 2 couples in the private room have profiles without any public pics (because they don't want random people looking at their pics) - are they not swingers? |

Didn't say they're not swingers. Mentally strong enough for swinging? No. |

Do people have to show photos on a website to be mentally strong enough for swinging? What about couples who aren't on websites? What did people do before the internet? |
