Had a daft £10 bet pre season that Sunderland would be relegated again straight into league one. 500/1.. 9 games to go. C'mon Sunderland we can do this  |

sunderland have been woeful all season and deserve relegation.500/1 was very generous odds at the start of the season and the bookies got it badly wrong just like they did with leicester winning the premier |

To be honest it was just a silly bet while out with my Sunderland fan friend, we had just played them in pre season friendly and we totally destroyed them and we didn't even have any first team players in the squad, well maybe 3 . I knew then they would struggle but never thought this badly

Hello all Ali here, I'm seeing reports online that Sunderland have been relegated but looking at the table it looks like they could stay up if they win their last 2 games and the team in 4th bottom lose their last 2 , am I right or could someone confirm this for me , I would ask hubby but he's not back from the Celtic match yet  |

I read the local news paper update which said the same thing but looking at the table they have a better goal difference than the team in 4th bottom 6 points behind them, so if they won and the other team loses they would stay up on goal difference or does that not matter these days ? x |

Bolton play Burton soon so one of those will be on 41 points after that game. |

They said until the last games are over they don't pay out. He said something about it's possible a team could have points deducted, highly unlikely but possible I suppose which could save Sunderland |
