I done many social meets in a local service station, and also used the hotel there, not to mention the carpark  It works well on many levels, not least for a social as it's a public place, so a woman can feel safe meeting a stranger from t'internet, but it's also fairly discreet as they tend to be filled with strangers just passing through, not locals  |

I live a few miles from a service station on the M6. I’ve lost count of the number of optimistic truckers who message me to tell me they’re ‘in my area’ with a nice comfy bed!
Wonder if anyone ever takes them up on the offer?
