So it’s always nice to make sure you’re looking your best for a meet, for me (the missus) I would love this to include wearing lipstick (-la nice red would be good).
But anytime I’ve worn it I end up looking like a horror film clown with it smeared everywhere
Ladies / TVs /TG ladies .. any recommendations?? |

Smashbox!
It's pricey at £19, but I use their liquid matte range and you can eat, drink and kiss all day it doesn't budge. You need an oil base wipe to remove it...greasy food will too...but wearing £19 lippy you'll not be munching kebabs and the like! |

It’s not my favourite red, but it hasn’t been beaten yet for staying power, I can recommend Maybelline Super Stay 24, red passion.
And if it does shift, if it wears away, rather than being smudged all around your face |

Almost any of the ones that claim to last about 18 hours. Maybelline, Revlon, Avon have a new range currently a fiver. I always wear one with a topcoat and usually have some left on the following morning. |

"One of my best friends is an award winning makeup artist. He told me to stop buying Mac and switch to KatVon D. I trust his judgement (haven’t bought one yet tho!)"
I'm awaiting delivery of a couple of kat von d that I got on eBay. The colour range looks great... I'm looking forward to testing the staying power |

"I use Urban Decay followed by Lipcote to keep it in place"
I can never get Lipcote to work. I bought a gorgeous pale pink lipstick in Paris and got some Lipcote to make it last. It just dries my lips out and wears off really esasily. Am I missing something? |

I have the same experience with Lipcote.
Mac will stay but it feels dry to me. I've found the cheaper reds stay but I can't bear to wear them because they feel glued on. I use Clinique on top of a red lip pencil and it seems to work. If I look clown-like I don't know because I'm having fun. |

I agree! My favourite red is the Cherry Pie one, just really the balm to keep it moist, no smudging at all. |

"The lipstick in my profile picture is maybaline 24hour lasting stuff you can kiss, give blow jobs and it won’t come off at all!! It’s brilliant stuff and my other half loves it x"
I used to see someone who liked red lipstick to leave a red ring around his cock after a sucky. |

Ive never really worn much make up, a bit of mascara and a dab of Carmex on my lips. But today ive been out and splurged on a few bits of Clinique stuff and got a free lippy.... a very nuetral colour though. Red would make me look like a clown |

Another vote for these.
Though there's another brand that are also good. Will post the name if I remember.

I put lipliner and lipstick on, kiss some tissue, then put a second lot of lipstick on before the lipcote. I go slightly over the edge of the lipstick and you have to let it dry completely before letting your lips touch. |

With Smashbox liquid matte no faffing about with lipcote. It dries in seconds and doesn't transfer at all. |

Mac Ruby Woo is lovely
I always colour lips in with a matching liner first too. I find it dries the lips out a little but creates a great base for lipstick. I use "Cherry" by Mac xx |
