Hi blue, I’m sorry to hear your struggling but please don’t think your alone there are others on here that will be struggling too.

I suffer with ME and one of my symptoms is pains, the only way I can explain these pains is it’s like my bones are going to sexplode.

Although I understand where you are coming from the two things you are struggling with although linked are very different things and would be dealt with in very different ways.

Your pain could be treated with a pain killer there are some very good nerve blocking meds out there you just have to find the right one.

The emotion on the other hand is very much harder to deal with but go see your gp and get them to refere you to a service that would deal with emotion anxiety depression, I think you may find this type of service will help you.

Good luck.

Not really. Local support is thin on the ground. Referrals for pain clinics takes months.

I have rheumatoid arthritis and my knees are bad at the moment.

I find exercise quite helpful. Not a run 10k or hours in the gym, but very basic physio exercises.

Tea, biscuits and warm hugs. Even the virtual type of hug, knowing that myself and lots of others are here thinking about you

Hi Blue

I suffer with arthritis as well as having just been diagnosed with a terminal illness so I know just how you are feeling...what I found helps is take your painkillers then a soak in a hot bath... get some heat into the joints to ease the pain a little then if you can masturbate for some emotional rather than just sexual relief.

After that if you have no one to talk to then come on here and chat to people just chit chat so you dont feel so alone...its not easy I know and for what its worth my heart goes out to you Tony xx

Pain clinics are very over subscribed and hard to get onto.

But support groups for emotion anxiety depression are more readily available (well at least south of the boarder) I think of you can understand the reasoning behind you feelings you have a better chance of dealing with things. RightSteps is the service I was put in touch with.

OP I would go and see the GP and ask for an urgent referral to a pain management specialist. There are such clinics in your neck of the woods.

If you think talking may help happy to speak with you.

Strong arms around you and kisses x

I am still struggling to find a way to control my pain and exhaustion in my muscles. I tried running but that's been a none starter. Currently in very low and can't overcome how i feel.

OP you are definitely not alone, stay strong and do things you enjoy when you can and at times you can't try watching and reading things you enjoy.

I use Gabapentin for my chronic pain only problem is you build up a tolerance quite quickly so I have to plan taking it around activity I undertake. I hate stuff that makes my head fuzzy so stay away from tramadol.

I’m seeing a surgeon on Friday which has been the result of a long campaign of being firm and not taking no for an answer.

My Dad suffers terribly with Arthritis and I see how he feels some mornings.

Good luck Op hope you feel better soon.
