I know I've only been here a week but I keep getting my messages ignored. I'm being respectful but will admit I'm not the best at convo starters. any advise? |

Stop messalging land concentrlatle on the forums or chatrooms, get yourself known (not for moaning you arent getting messages)
Try to get along to a club or a local social and meetfolk socially first.
Unfotunately its a hard slog for single guys.

Have you been reading the people you are messaging to make sure you match what they are looking for etc if not that could be a reason why. Also maybe your lack of profile is a stumbling block as us ladies read a profile before we read a msg so if there's nothing to grab our attention then why should we think your message will.
Maybe delete your sent messages and then you won't know if they are getting read or deleted or both and if you get a reply think of it as a bonus.
Also as you haven't asked specifically for profile advice you can search the forums for profile advice |

Your profile text is very generic. It doesn't stand out at all OP. Good pictures though  . Remember that most women will look at your profile, before ever opening a message, so you need to make that your shop window. I would also agree with what another poster said. Contribute in the forums. There are quite a few who have gotten messages/meets off the back of here |

I'd dump the last line of your profile, why would a lady want to ask you questions when she can read other profiles that tell her all she needs to know.
As you say, you've only been here a week, so think of your profile as a work in progress. Read other people's and get a rough idea as to what makes them stand out and tailor it to suit yourself.
