Are you prepared? Have you got your heating on, antifreeze checked in the car, thermals out of storage and pullovers at the ready? Or are you more the sort that waits. till frost is on the ground before you do anything? |

Always ready
I have a folding shovel in the car, food for 3 people for 24 hrs, bottled water, camping cooker, tow straps, warm coat, spare pair of woolly socks and boots.
It just stays in the car 365 days a year. The only thing missing is the damn heater in the car doesn't work!!! |

It doesn't even feel that cold yet. I went to the shops in my flip flops yesterday. The heating hasn't been on this year yet either. I do keep a sleeping bag in my car but I do that all year round, just in case |

Yep, Scotland proved too cold for me. Thankfully my mum blasts the heating on for me when I visit and makes lots of leek and potato soup to keep me warm |

Well my van is packed with all the winter essentials. 2 cases of Pot Noodle, a box of chocotates, my little black book for some much needed body warmth when I suffer hypothermia, oh and a pair of pink wooly socks ............. just in case! |

Just spent a night under canvas, my new Dutch pyramid tent, with a heater and an electric under-blanket, and it was very nice and cosy!
Can't wait to spend the Christmas weekend camping!
So in that respect, I am ready! |

Have heard the temperature is going to drop rapidly this week, now do I change over to the winter duvet now or chance it and leave the thin one on for a bit longer? |
