There and to the left a bit |
There's lots of the UK I've not seen that I'd love to see Lake District, Northumbria, parts of Yorkshire
And lots that I've not been to for ages Scotland, parts of North Wales, the Brecon Beacons, York, Bath and loads more.
Always said I'd like to live on a narrow boat and see the country from the canals and rivers - one day it might happen |

I think the Orkney islands are the last places in the UK we haven't been and won't be able to visit before leaving. Been almost everywhere else, a few times! |

"In uk probably the highlands around Christmas time,
Lifetime goals are Tokyo, Bangkok, USA (road trip) and Australia "
We stayed in the highlands at Christmas twice and it was absolutely wonderful. I recommend it |

The Hebrides. You can rent a bike at one end, and cycle / ferry to the other end.
It's on our to-do list.
The only likely problem is going to be, not many Fabbers in that part of the country.

"I think I'd like to visit Liverpool
I suggest you do. Just TONS to do. Close to Wales, Cheshire, Manchester, Blackpool and the Lakes too ....... just go."
I haven't been for about 18 years and that was just a stag do.
The people were really friendly and the place had a nice buzz.
Where's worth visiting there? |

Been everywhere else, thanks to parents dragging me around the UK as a child on holidays... |

"The South West, especially Dorset, Cornwall and Devin. "
Can highly recommend Dorset.......
but I could be a tad biased. Me I ‘d like to go to the Isle of Man for the TT races
one day I’ll get there. |

"Any busty ladies fancy Edinburgh let me know - I’ll be happy to be your tour guide "
If you are only planning on being their tour guide, why do they need to be busty women? |

Amazed at the amount who haven't been to Cornwall, it's stunning with some of the best beaches in Europe, Porthcurno beach on a hot sunny day will leave you breathless. The lakes too are spectacular and our personal favourite. If the weather was guaranteed we'd probably never leave these shores, plenty of amazing places. |

He wants to look at some nice scenery, while they look at the nice scenery.
I'd like to visit Staffa, but it involves boats, and I don't get on well with boats. |

Ive worked all over the UK with the exception of Northern Ireland (next touring holiday destination) and all 3 Countries are beautiful but my favourite places to visit are the bleak empty untouched spaces like moorlands, welsh hills, scottish highlands, northumbrian beaches...anywhere where you can feel the beauty touching you inside. |

As far as Europe goes, if it beats Ireland's West Coast beaches then they must be stunning! |

You should!! Both great cities (although obviously Liverpool is the best )
And Chester is worth adding on to that too! |

Went past Stonehenge twice this week. Some kids lefts their building blocks out and it got a bit out of hand
On a serious note from what I saw it looks impressive |

If you want stunnkng beaches try the Gower Peninsula ...Rhossili Bay was named one of top 10 beaches in the world... Welsh tourist board is either useless or they want to keep the beaches for themselves lol |

Bath is lovely, traffic can be a shocker though so I’d travel by train if you can. "
I'd second that. I've been stuck in rush hour traffic in Bath too many times. If it's a day trip use the park & ride. |

The south of Pembrokeshire is well worth a look. Tenby is a nice place to stay with lovely beaches. Further west Barafundle beach is beautifull & un spoilt. |

I'd love to visit Northern Ireland (and the republic too, but obviously that's not in the uk).
I've been to loads of England, visited several places in both Scotland and Wales, but never crossed the water to Ireland.

Or just come to Bristol, which actually has for more georgian architecture than Bath
( and even worse traffic) |

Yup...but at least there arent two totally separate one way systems cutting the city in half... and a lot more history in Bristol plus all the hidden places that most people dont know about like cabot tower and the observatory on the downs (one of the only 2 working camera obscura in the country)
Oh and apparently one of the best cities to live in as well...and yes before you ask I am a Bristolian...born and bred lol |

If you cycle I'd seriously recommend doing Lands End-John O'Groats. 10 days of seeing England and Scotland on a bike and taking in some seriously stunning scenery.
Scotland (bar Greenock.... sorry anyone from Greenock!! ) is beautiful. Just a shame the weather is generally shitter than even Manchester!
Personal fave parts of the UK? Wasdale/Scafell Pike in the lakes.
Glencoe - absolutely stunning
Devon & Cornwall - Padstow is lovely
Snowdonia
North of Scotland - remote but beautiful |

Rhosilli is an amazing beach. As nice as any I’ve seen anywhere I’ve been:
The Wales Tourist Board isn’t always brilliant, but in fairness, I’ve seen Rhossilli on publicity all over the place, including the Underground.
Personally, I’ve not been to Northumberland and I’ve heard very good things about it. |
