I've just had a cold call from a company wanting to give me a quote on my public liability insurance. I was addressed using an informal abbreviation of my christian name.
I have to admit to being taken aback and pointed this out to her. I also don't like being addressed as 'mate' by shop assistants. Is this the way things are going or am i just being old fashioned? |
