do you think some of the non-Aboriginal players for New Zealand feel a bit odd doing the Haka??

They must do, same as people sing their "Teams" country's National Anthem, but aren't really from that country....

I don't think so, they would have been doing it for years. I love it when they do the Haka. They put so much passion into it, it must really psyche them up for the game.

Strictly speaking, Aboriginies refers to the indigenous population of an area, so the Maoris are New Zealand's aboriginal people. It's just that there's no other term that's commonly used for the pre-colonisation peoples of Australia, so the word has become closely associated with them.
