Are you obsessive? Cook from scratch?
Batch-bake meals for the freezer?
Is your microwave your best friend?
I am a careless cook. I shove stuff in the oven, but never bother to check the times or temperatures. Cooking is a chore for me, but I do enjoy food.
What about you? |

Yeah I cook most of ma food from scratch. I have batch cooking days, then freeze most of it. I generally go to ma butcher and get a shed load of meat and all the other fresh ingredients off the market, then I pick up a couple of bottles of Cabernet Sauvignon, put some sounds on and pretend I'm Marco Pierre White |

Mostly microwave my meals.
Simple etc, instructions on the packaging.
Never tried a meal from scratch, too time consuming. |

Love cooking. Mainly cos I love my food. Would choose home cooked over a packet any day...nothing that takes too long tho. When you bake wee potatoes in garlic and chilli oil and they are so tasty or make a sauce it's worth the extra 10 mins x |

I absolutely love cooking, always from scratch and no ready made anything. I don't mind how long a recipe takes as it's worth the effort when I eat it. I have a huge collection of cookery books and will attempt anything. |

There are days when I could spend hours in the kitchen, then others where I wish I had bought a couple of ready meals. When in the right mood, I enjoy cooking and cook from scratch, with a few short cuts I have been known to batch cook, but never seem to get around to using the frozen meals, I simply seem to store them and buy and cook more food. When we shop we always over-buy and the cupboards are full of tinned toms and such like; it was very useful though recently, when getting to the shops was an issue! I think we saw the back of one cupboard and the bottom of the freezer, so maybe it isn't such a bad habit after all! |

I love watching people clear plates of food I've cooked!Cook from scratch when time and ingredients allow, but just as comfortable throwing pizzas in the oven. Sunday roast is probably the meal I enjoy cooking most, it's a proper meal but it's easy to prep and I've usually got a glass of wine on the go while cooking it! |

I'm a fantastic cook. I take the food out of the freezer, remove the outer packaging, pierce the film lid and bung it in the oven for the required amount of time. Sometimes i even remember to switch the oven on. |

I love to cook and make everything from scratch. Not only does it taste better but you know exactly what’s in it and it’s usually much cheaper too.
I meal plan extensively, usually a week ahead, and generally stick to it. It helps with shopping as we know what we need to buy. Also helps with my diet as it stops me from eating crap.
Tonight will be a simple pan fried salmon with lemon and dill served with salad.
Tomorrow is homemade pizza.
Sunday roast beef.
Monday Thai curry. |

I love cooking! Glass of wine, music and people I love laughing as I knock up a fab meal-I like to think I am a pretty competent chef. Slow cooking from scratch. Even the shopping for the ingredients for a particular recipe is fun. Received the chef's bible last year as a birthday gift- Institut Paul Bocuse Gastronomique. It's an idiot's guide for keen amateurs like me and beautiful with mouth watering step by step chapters and 1,800 photographs. Not a plug. |

I cook alot of food from scratch due to my youngest being on a strict diet of free from gluten/wheat, dairy and soya..hard work, very expensive but it is also healthy. I been doing it since he was 10months old and hes 4yrs old now so im used to it. Plus I am a great cook..amongst other things xx |
