Craig Carlton...fair voice..but I wish he would stop sneering when he sings..reminds me of a drag artist without the make up..I can imagine him singing 'I am what I am'

Sophie..Struggled with the lower register/tempo..I love her voice..but no X factor....could go tomorrow

Marcus...top 4 finish

The Risk ...Top 4 finish

Rhythmix...very good tonight...top 4 finish

Frankie...Flat as a pancake..just looks the part....might go

Janet...again struggles with softer slower notes etc...but has a likability.

Misha..didnt like tonight's song, needs to realise she ain Aretha Franklins love child..could make it

Kitty...fantastic range in her voice, looks the part too...but the girls aint going to like her, and they are the biggest voters

Sami...possibly for a top four place..struggles though when she sings soft and low..

Nu Vibe...wont go much further IMO..might go tomorrow

They know how many votes each contestant got, so there should be no such thing as a sing off.

Whoever got the least votes should go, last night it said "The nation decides" and that's how it should be!

We're glad Johnny and Kitty got through, they should stop all that booing crap, she's a great singer and performer.

In our opinion Frankie should have gone, New Vibe were better!

Okay, I admit it.

I tried again, last night, to watch X-Factor.

I think I got as far as ten minutes.

There was some (and I use the term advisedly) fat bird who murdered one song or another and during some kind of vox-pop she stated that she was really really happy because since she had been seen last week she had been contacted by lots of fat kids.

Who said she was an inspiration for them to want to be a singer too.

At this point I more or less lot the will to live.

In my haste to switch channels I happened upon some kind of dancing talent show thing on BBC1. This may have been for members of the public or celebrities, I don't know (I have great difficulty with the 'celebrity' versions of popular television shows because, frankly, I've never heard of any of the cunts who are on it. (anybody who appears anywhere on any 'celebrity' version of a tv show is a de-facto cunt - I make no apology)

The show would appear to be some of X-Factor for the middle classes, a bit more gentle and (marginally) less screamy than the ITV behemoth.

Suffice to say I didn't last long, though I must admit that at least on this show there were girls wearing some very tight and revealing costumes who were gyrating in a manner which I can only surmise resulted in many of the Dads who were _iewing indulging in frantic and secretive onanism later in the evening.

Whilst the show was in general marginally less offensive than the X-Factor I couldn't help noticing that almost everyone on it appeared to be an entirely necessary shade of orange for some unexplained reason.

I know many people on here like these shows and I do so desperately want to fit in and be 'one of the gang' by being part of the zeitgeisty _iewing experience and I don't want to disparage.

But fucking hell.

Actually joking aside they got themselves in the shit over that in the heats because they allowed a woman who obviously has 'problems' to sing on stage..basically setting her up to be a laughing stock..I know they are there to make a tv show at the end of the day...but that was slap bang out of order.

I'd give my time and effort to Johnny before any of the other contestants. He's not a winner in a singing competition but he's a winner as a fun bod to be with once in a while which is more than can be said for the others.

I hope he gets regular work out it. He's naturally funny and would make a great 'dolly dealer / singer / foil' on lots of progs.

It's been a brave attempt at updating it and to some extent it's been very successful.... but the acts.... fuggin ell ..... dire for the most part.

I can't stand Janet or Frankie.

Sophie and Marcus are weak.

Most have peaked or will peak next week.

Misha should win but there is time for The Risk to overtake her.

Well i love the xfator not seen this sat as was staying at horse show and had to go into the evening shows ... so i hope to see it in the week , sure it will be on again ........ we have tickets for the xfator final .. been to two shows but be nice to go at the end as will feel i have got to know them all ...... The mentors don't seem to know what a rock song is.

We've had the odd one or two chicken out with acoustic versions and pop and hip hop but no rock belters.

Louie wasted Kitty, she's the only one with the vocal range to do justice to rock and he gave her the wrong song but she still carried it.

As for Johnny, as was said earlier, he should have done a Queen song but still made a great job of the Darkness hit.

I think last nights X-factor was really boring .... the only good bit was when the judges started bitching lol

a shame that they just dont go for talent. they always have to be people in like Jedward or Jonny who can't really sing but still make it through to a certain point.... shame for those who can sing but had to go before them ...

I think Sammi is a good singer, but not an artist. Least with Kitty there is a performance to look at and her vocals are pretty damm good!

I think her song choices were very Karaoke. If she truly didnt want them, im sure she could have said something.

I think what, at first, seemed to be a promising X Factor has ended up as a total pile of bollox.

The only decent acts that are on are the lad from Liverpool, The big black lass and Johnny - and to be honest I'd not say any of those make the hairs stand up on the back of my neck the way Rebecca Ferguson did last year.

And now they have Alex Burke on the panel

Craig isn't as good as people think

Marcus isn't strong enough to win. Very pretty and very lively though.

Johnny is good to hear NOT good to look at. He's not X factor winner material but I think he should go on to entertain.

If i've missed someone out just shows how rubbish they are.
