I went to purchase a ticket and they wanted £1250.00 for an ordinary seat. Priced out of the game.

Couldn't get/afford a ticket or extortionate b&b costs.

"So anybody else going to the paddy's day game on the 17th March @ Twickenham??"

Unfortunately I am too busy doing far more important things....I have a sock draw that needs rearranging, a collection of 1980's knitting patterns that need to be collated into chronological order for my gran and an orange in my fruit bowl that is slowly rotting and changing colour that I need to monitor closely.

Damn shame these vital jobs are going to use up the time that I could have spent watching 30 men flattening a piece of turf clambering over each other like over enthusiastic gnus at an antelope orgy chasing a ball that is shaped like an egg. Damn

To those of you that would like access to reasonably priced international tickets, get yourselves down to your local rugby club and sign up as a social member (patron).

This will give you access to your clubs official rfu allocation of tickets whilst also supporting the game at grass route level.

A patron at my local club will pay £40 per season, this in turn gives access too rfu tickets, a voice in the clubs direction choices and two invitations for specific home games per season including lunch.

Patrons days are very important for all clubs.

Was that a pitchside ticket? I’ve never paid more than £80 for a 6 Nations ticket at Twickers & I’ve been a couple of times!

You can also sign up as a member of England Rugby - it’s about £40 per year & you get acces to tickets & discount on official merchandise

very happy in fact .... it is rewarding knowing that I can shed light & spread good word to those who are darkened by a lack of knowledge or the inability to form a calculated opinion... cross I must bear

Lots of posh people drinking overpriced beer while watching lots of fat/freakishly tall guys roll around in mud after putting in a 3 yard "sprint".

I'll stick to my Rugby League thanks.
