"Bother by Stone Sour
Love the song but it definitely is a sad one."
One of my favourites! Also the acoustic version of say you'll haunt me.
And Disturbed's cover of sound of silence is a good one for when I'm feeling sad. |

Just where I need to be. |
River by Joni Mitchell. When I'm feeling lost and sad I put it on.The use of the river as a metaphor for escapism is how I'd want to escape, put my skates on and fly away. |

It depends on whether i want the feeling to embrace me or not.
If I'm sad and want to be happy then i just play the ukulele.
If i need to be in the moment its Gymnopedie no.1 by Erik Satie |

There and to the left a bit |
There are some songs that give an instant lift just by being upbeat and jolly - for example Jack O' The Green by Suggs just came on my iPod randomly and has put an instant bounce in my step (well it would if I was standing up and walking!!).
So it tends to be songs like that I turn to if I have a dose of the downs - although occasionally I'll wallow in something dark and moody if I want to dwell on my misery for a while, which isn't often |

Music brings joy and sadness. Evokes emotions in us all. A sad song played for the right reason isn’t sad. Where as a happy song played with a memory attached can reverse it. I know of lots that do both to me.
Now don’t get me wrong don’t think canilla ice is ever going to fit either but to someone who knows.
