Got up Sunday morning to find I had a burst water pipe, thankfully it was in the outhouse, so no real damage done, don't know how long the water was pissing out of it, but I suspect a good few hours. also seen a plumber going into my neighbours house so I was not the only one having a bad start to the day lol. Did it happen to you ? |

Nope but we are in a tower block so unlikely to happen.
We did get a flyer from Thames Water requesting that we are not wasteful with water as there may be a problem meeting demand due to mains leaks though |

Unfortunately yes!
Was woken up at 3.30am on Friday morning with banging on my door and was presented will a whole troop of fireman because I had sprung a leak and was gushing water into the properties below me.
Not the greatest way to be greeted at that time in the morning, as if I need any more shit in my life

I don't have any water on the first floor of my house. All my pipes are at the back of the downstairs and don't cover a big area. My house is too warm for them to freeze. |
