I've put a load of food into a bird table and the various types of tits land on the table, takes one seed and then flies off and then comes back. Surely this is an inefficient use of energy in this weather?
They're usually intelligent little things.
We rarely put bird food out but earlier I put some bread on the lawn...seagull gangsters took it in nanoseconds
