Am I missing out on something here? Noticed more people are talking about having this now on toast and stuff.

I'm confused at what the appeal is other than with "skint hipsters who complain they can't get on the property ladder"

Nope. Not a Scooby!

Can anyone help a middle aged chap understand what’s going on here?

I'm obviously not a hipster as I'm equally baffled.

The big question is - mashed or smashed?

Ah right! Thanks. I think!

But yeah the OP makes a lot more sense now.

I guess it’s just a fad. Like skinny mocha-lattes and Alice bands on men. It’ll pass!

Neither. Unless I'm having guacamole I see no other use for it

Avocado is also excellent for those who are vegan as it works really well as a fat source in non dairy, gluten free chocolate cake. I'm not vegan but I do have to cater for them occasionally.

Also great for face masks.. Or mixed with sugar and cream... Yum yum

Sounds like people have focused on a very very small aspect of a Paleo or Keto diet, which I follow but I never eaten one.

I was confused for way longer than I should have been with this thread! I'm with you now.

It's very instagram popular at the minute, and joe wicks.

I use it for guacamole usually and in some tacos. I did have it in a recipe for cajun chicken burgers last week. Dunno if I fancy it on toast though.
