Hope he has a great birthday! I’m sure Lincoln is the same as most other towns with it’s bars and clubs, they all merge into a muchness whichever town you’re in! Maybe do a quick Google to before you go to plan your venues! Enjoy!

Lincoln

There’s two different aspects to Lincoln’s nightlife. Uphill near the catherdral you will find the more mature clientel like myself with little bars and pubs. Downtown is where the students of the ever increasing sized university hang out and that has more of your vibrant night life with walkabout esc type clubs.

There’s also the Bradford where there are restaurants and a hotel with a cocktail bar on the top floor that gives awesome views across Lincolnshire in the summer.

However, if your looking for anything swinging wise there’s zilch nearest is Sheffield which is about an hours drive away.

It’s a quiet city compared to most but still more than capable of delivering a few hangovers lol!!!

Belton

Home, back to mono, loft, sugarcubes(fantastic sleazy rock nightclub!)red five, liquor & trebles are all great places everything is within 5 to 10 mins walk.

For quiet cheap drinks try the swan just up from engine shed...which is also good to go to if propaganda is on...that is uni bar/venue

If you go up to cathedral area...warning....big big steep hill!!

Love trebles. But I’m more a ‘top of the hill’ kinda dweller.

You’ll love it anyway OP. It’s a good night out and beautiful place xx
