Well I scraped the frozen rain off the car and I've got a nice Pinotage, a Malbec and a Sauvignon blanc, a plump duck breast to marinade, smoked haddock for my kedgeree, and chicken livers for the anorexic moggy, even a bag of coal for a roaring fire.....I'm all ready for the 12 o'clock kick off, bring it on again Emma!

I ventured out to get bits to fix the boiler and stopped on the way to grab food for tonight. I'm making a gumbo. Nom!

Nope. I went shopping and bought shoes. I was out of bread and almost out of milk this morning and didn't have a panic.
Might pop to Lidl tomorrow for some essentials and do Morrisons on Monday. |
