Swinging clubs worked for us we went from playing on our own and just enjoying the social side of it and then the more confident we got we started letting more people join in..

Which one of you is shy? Clubs are great to go watch and see how that makes you feel. Be aware that if you play in an open room, some people just touch without asking so be ready to say no if you don't want that. Always get consent before touching.
You could meet another couple and play with your own partners in the same room. Make sure before you meet that they understand that's all you want to do.
