Whilst speaking to a friend it became apparent that some folk are extremely anxious about commenting on threads.
For me it's easy; say what you wish, read what you chose and ignore what you want.
But some are nervous about starting a thread.
So in order to encourage new posters post a thread idea, then the person below creates a variation of it?
E.G.
Icecream.
Freezing.
Yes I'm bored snowed in with no one to tonk  |

I have started a few over the years with varying degrees of success, but Jim resurrected one of mine "Pointless v The Chase" that I remember posting about 5 years ago and had totally forgotten about. It had zero replies on it until Jim got bored one night  |

I love it when an innocuous thread from weeks prior is resurrected for no apparent reason! in fact I may search for on to do just that ! |
