Creativity is a phenomenon whereby something new and somehow valuable is formed. The created item may be intangible (such as an idea, a scientific theory, a musical composition, or a joke) or a physical object (such as an invention, a literary work, or a painting.
How creative are you? How do you express that creativity?
Do creative people think and see the world differently? Are you aware of your slightly different approach?
If you're not creative do you wish you were? In what way? |

I try be creative in my work especially when met with a problem I always try and resolve it myself either hands on and fix something or suggest quick fix. In my home life I’m always tinkering with things and rather than buy something I’ll try build it or make it especially with wood. And I love it |

I'm super creative!
I love art, music, fashion, writing...literally anything remotely creative and I'm in!
Definitely get it from my dad i think, also a fairly typical Pisces if you believe in that kind of thing!
It's a great way to express yourself and can be very therapeutic! |

I enjoy writing. I've never shared what I write, I just do it for me. I find it very therapeutic.
I enjoy art and try to buy original pieces if my budget will let me. I enjoy photography, that's a passion I'd love to pursue.
I prefer handmade gifts/jewellery and cards. It just means so much more.

I think because I'm quite musical I hear or listen to it in a different way, and notice things that people that aren't musical don't.
I don't think that my overall enjoyment of a song as a whole is any more or any less than any one else but I think I appreciate and enjoy the nuances more while others are happy with with the song in it's entirety. |

My only creative outlet is writing. I'm a decent poet. It's something I love to do and really should do more I've.
I do wish I was more creative. I'd love to be able to draw or paint but I just can't. |

Similar but with visuals. I think I read images and videos more critically because I'm a professional photographer.
I have a few outlets but don't get around to being as creative as I would like as often. Paid work gets priority and often isn't my most creative work. |

I design with artwork everyday on the pc, as I'm licensed to use pieces of art from artists across the globe and to incorporate them into new designs with digital scrapkits and then advertise them on their behalf on social media. I find it extremely therapeutic. |

Creative with ideas and words. Inspiration can strike at anytime and so my notepad is always on hand. I’ve probably started in the region of 150 poems since January. Finished about 20. I also started writing a short story which is turning into a not so short story. I find writing is a great outlet for my thoughts and emotions.
My favourite thing about it though is reciting my poems at poetry jam. It gives me enormous pleasure. |

Yes, I believe we do - we tend to think outside the box and so be unconventional, eccentric, rebellious etc.
My first career was as a classic creative, the second, was in the scientific field but now you come to describe it, that was creative too - I did some very novel research. |

"I make things but usually from ideas I get from elsewhere.
What about you OP? "
I am quite creative in the way I think and my approach to situations. My brain tends to go off on random tangents at times and conversations with me can get a bit ridiculous at times (I apologise to anyone who's had that misfortune ).
I'm quite musically minded and as someone said before I'm often more intuitive around the things I hear. They do influence the things I write but I guess it would take a lot to come up with a truly original piece.
Artistically I'd love to be able to draw but something goes wrong between my brain and my hand. I am quite creative with physical things though.

Your question got me thinking. I suppose I can be creative sometimes, just my output is a bit rubbish. As long as I'm happy with it, it's ok though. |

"well I like photography, love editing snaps. I used to be fairly creative in the arty sense.
none of that damien hurst etc pish"
mainly what I like bringing people is the joys of nature I suppose...from nature to macro, landscapes etc..then bring my own element in to how I'd like to see it(if it isnt just for documentation purposes) |

Well, I work in a creative field and I know that I'm an ideas person rather than a creative, I struggle to bring those ideas into reality myself, I'm good with grids, structure and form or selling a story.
So not a true creative who can pull new things out of nothing.
I think truly creative people think differently, see the world differently, but it's got to be a double edged sword so I'm kind of glad I'm not a true creative.

Creative in my imagination and putting some of that creativity into action. Just wish I was a little more practically creative at times!
Considering converting a basement into a dungeon with stone clad walls etc to create a colourful atmosphere. But, having to buy everything in due to lack of skills makes it expensive! |
