Those people who passionately dislike natural human body odours, including sweat, urine etc, are more likely to be on the right side of the left/right political spectrum.

Whilst not a political discussion, the concept that researchers have discussed is that odours and disgust systems may be a sign of survival instinct, even if in some it is potentially out of step with danger. Our responses are also not seemingly fixed, with us having flexibility to change our odour responses.

Are you extremely bothered and disgusted by potentially harmless fresh natural smells?

I don't like a fishy dick. Does that make me a bad person?

No I'm not , I prefer the natural scent of a clean lady, I dislike perfume or scented creams lotions deodorants etc and dislike the taste even more and if I'm being intimated I intend to taste every part of her x

I am repulsed by strong B.O., strong genital odours, the aroma of other people’s shit and uncleared public toilets, but my politics are towards the left

I've no idea how my disgust levels differ to other peoples.

Most of us will get a disgust reaction of some time to smells that may be very strong, old and thus likely to include bacterial degradation etc. And, as with many things about human personality and behaviour, we'll all be somewhere along a spectrum.

Having a response, to protect health from potential disease/infection, can of course be a very good natural protective measure.

I'm fine with urine and sweat; I quite like the smell of my LTP after he's been to the gym. Poop and vomit I'm not so good with, as I have a very good sense of smell.

This, I love her end of day odours, and the infrequent times she has a bit of sweaty armpits drives me fucking insane. Just her though really. Brings out my inner caveman.

Me too

I don't understand any of it or care that much to be honest!

But I do care if someone or the environment I'm in smells bad

Maybe a good thing to stay away from the politics forum, it can be a little brutal and to the point.

The research stated that those who were ultra sensitive to odours also tended to be more judgmental towards others.

my sense of smelling is really bad (I have been known to be in the kitchen and not recognising that something is burning) however- I know that some people I don't like I really hate how they smell. nothing to do with poor hygiene but simply their natural smell.

I always loved the the smell of my ex was a very comforting thing just smelling her neck

But on the other side of things a different ex used to love my armpits especially when I had just got home from work and I'm a manual worker this wasn't just sniffing was also licking always found it a little strange

Burnleyish (She/They)

We are more tolerant or even grow to love the natural smells of our loved ones sweat and all (although farts may be a bit far)

I love the smell of one of my men post run, I also love the taste of his skin then... Another loves the smell of me after a long day at work. (or post gym). My husband very rarely wears aftershave but I love the smell of him all the time.
